    Workforce Demographic Data Quality Technical Assistance


    The project was an effort by DOL to assess its quality in program data reported by states, mitigate challenges presented by incomplete data, and take steps to improve the quality and scope of data collection. MSG staff assessed the needs of the WIOA programs, gathered best practices in data quality, and developed TA products for WIOA programs to use to improve demographic data quality throughout the public workforce system.

    MSG partnered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health to lead a national awareness and behavior change campaign on sarcopenia, a condition marked by the loss of muscle mass and strength with age.     MSG provided technical and logistical support services for the National Assessment Governing Board to ensure strong collaboration across committee members and staff, clearly communicate its work to the public, and foster buy-in from varied stakeholders. MSG provides content area expertise to conduct assessment framework reviews, produces analytic reports using National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) data, and shares findings with the general public.
